Legendary Insulator Collector Rick Kelly
Rick started collecting with his career in the telecommunications industry in the 1970's in California.   The shiny little things on top of the abandoned poles were colorful and interesting.
He started his collecting with a basic green Hemmingray shown on the left, and has moved to the more valuable ones like the threadless 1870 insulator on the right.  He moved to Utah in the 1980s and started to get much more sophisticated in knowing the values and history on his collection and then started to buy and trade.  You will see his efforts proudly displayed in the basement.....and everywhere else.  Now he is mainly looking for COLOR to enhance his collection.  You can reach him on rekinsul8r@aol.com!

Two prize insluators!

Rick Holding his first insulator on the left and a later more valuable acquisition on right.

The opaque ones are commemorative insulators made in the 1970's.
